For Helpers

Provider Agreement

Effective: June 28, 2026

1. Who This Agreement Applies To

This Provider Agreement ("Agreement") applies to all individuals who create a service offer, accept jobs, or earn income through the SOLVA platform. By applying as a helper, activating a service offer, or accepting your first job, you agree to be bound by this Agreement, the SOLVA Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all applicable laws.

2. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee of SOLVA. This means:

  • You set your own schedule, rates, and service area
  • SOLVA does not control how you deliver your services
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, and equipment
  • SOLVA does not provide benefits, workers' compensation, or employment protections

SOLVA provides the coordination platform, trust and safety systems, payment processing, and dispute resolution — not employment.

3. Identity Verification Requirement

All helpers must complete identity verification before their first job. Verification includes:

  • Government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, or state ID)
  • Selfie verification to confirm identity matches the ID
  • Phone number verification via SMS

Helpers offering services in private residences, with children, or with vulnerable adults may be required to pass an optional background check to receive a verification badge. Providing false identity information is grounds for immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement.

4. Service Standards

As a SOLVA helper, you commit to:

  • Arriving on time and communicating promptly if delays occur
  • Delivering the service exactly as described in your service offer
  • Treating clients respectfully and professionally at all times
  • Maintaining any required licenses, certifications, or permits for your service type
  • Carrying your own liability insurance where appropriate
  • Never performing work while impaired
  • Leaving client spaces clean and in the condition you found them

5. Cancellation Policy

SOLVA tracks helper cancellations. Cancellations harm clients who have made plans around your commitment.

  • More than 24 hours before service: Free cancellation. No impact on your record.
  • 2–24 hours before service: Counted as a late cancellation. Three late cancellations in 90 days may result in service offer suspension.
  • Less than 2 hours before service (no-show): Counted as a no-show. Two no-shows result in immediate service offer suspension pending review.

Emergency cancellations (verified illness, family emergency) may be excused with documentation. Contact support immediately at support@solvahumanos.com.

6. Payout Terms

You are paid after the client confirms completion of the service.

  • Funds are released within 24 hours of client confirmation or automatic job close (48 hours after marked complete)
  • Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect to your connected bank account
  • Standard payout processing is 2–5 business days after release
  • Platform fee: SOLVA charges a standard platform fee on each job. Founding helpers (first 90 days on platform) pay 0% — full payout.
  • All fees are displayed before you accept a job
  • Payouts may be withheld during an open dispute investigation

7. Code of Conduct

Beyond the service itself, helpers must:

  • Never solicit off-platform payments or attempt to move clients away from SOLVA
  • Never contact clients for purposes unrelated to the booked service
  • Never enter areas of a client's property beyond what is necessary for the service
  • Never photograph or record clients, their home, or their belongings without explicit consent
  • Never bring additional, unannounced persons to a service without prior client approval
  • Respond to SOLVA support inquiries within 24 hours

8. Account in Good Standing

To remain an active SOLVA helper, you must maintain:

  • A Trust Score of 4.0 or above (averaged across your last 20 reviews)
  • A cancellation rate below 10% over any rolling 90-day period
  • A response rate of at least 80% for incoming job requests
  • Compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations

9. Taxes

You are solely responsible for reporting and paying all taxes on income earned through SOLVA, including self-employment tax. SOLVA will issue a 1099-K if your earnings exceed the IRS reporting threshold in a calendar year. We recommend consulting a tax professional about your obligations as an independent contractor.

10. Termination

SOLVA may suspend or permanently terminate your helper account for violations of this Agreement, the Terms of Service, or Community Guidelines. You may close your account at any time by visiting account deletion. Pending payouts for completed jobs will be processed on the normal schedule.

12. Service Safety Acknowledgement

By creating a service offer, activating a listing, accepting a booking, or connecting a bank account through Stripe Connect, you explicitly acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your service does not fall under any category listed in the SOLVA Prohibited Services policy
  • Your service complies with Stripe's Restricted Business policy, including its prohibitions on cannabis/CBD, adult content, gambling, firearms, and financial services requiring regulatory approval
  • Your service is legal in every jurisdiction where it is offered or delivered
  • Any in-person service involving children, the elderly, or vulnerable adults will be disclosed and is offered only with appropriate consent and applicable certifications
  • You will not use SOLVA to offer, facilitate, or disguise any service that violates this Agreement, the Community Guidelines, or applicable law

Violation of this acknowledgement results in immediate account suspension, payout hold, and may be reported to law enforcement. If you are unsure whether your service is permitted, contact providers@solvahumanos.com before activating.
